Pharmacist  Uchenna Uzoma Apakama FPSN is a certified Pharmacist and Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).  He earned his B.Pharm degree in pharmacy from the Prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka and established Paxs Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in 1987 to fulfil the need for authentic healthcare products and services in South Eastern Nigeria. As Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Paxs Pharmaceuticals Ltd. of the Company, he has sustained excellence in Pharmacy Practice and grown the firm to a network of 10 Pharmacies located in Anambra, Ebonyi and Delta states.

A core Pharmacy Professional, Uche Apakama is a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), Commonwealth Pharmacists Association (CPA) and the American Pharmacist Association (APhA). He was a Pioneer Pharmacist Consultant in-charge of the South-East region for GHAIN, a PEPFAR- USAID, HIV/AIDS intervention program in Nigeria. Recently he served as a member of the Governing Board of the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and is currently a member of Governing Board of the National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA), Abuja.

Pharm. Uche Apakama has exhibited his firm believe  in Service to humanity and above Self through Rotary International. He is an Eight Star Paul Harris Fellow, a Past President of the Rotary club of Onitsha East and  Past Assistant Governor of Rotary International District 9142

.

He served as President of Onitsha Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ONICCIMA) from 2015 to 2017. Currently he is an Executive member of Association of Anambra Chambers of Commerce (AACCIMA), South-East Chambers of Commerce (SECCIMA), and National Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA.

He has received numerous awards and honors from numerous organizations for his devotion and Service to his Profession and Community.
